About Us
The Society of hydrologists and meteorologists - Nepal (SOHAM-Nepal) is a Professional Society. The general assembly is the highest body of the SOHAM-Nepal which prepares its rules and regulations and guides it. The Executive Committee consists of: Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, General Secretary, Secretary, Treasurer and six Members. The executive Committee will hold at least three meetings annually. The General Assembly meets annually and executive committee presents activities performed, programs and budgets in the assembly.According to SOHAM-Nepal rules and regulations, every three years the Executive Committee forms a three member's election board to call the election for the new Executive Committee. The election board carries out the election for the new Executive Committee and the elected members sworn in the general assembly. The Seventh assembly was held in September, 2008 (2065 BS, Bhadra).
